Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate German Controllerto join ourfinance group. The German
Controller will be responsible for preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income
statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with German accounting standards or International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), providing strategic insights to support decision-making, managing
financial risks, implements internal controls, and coordinates audits, manage a team of finance professionals.
An ideal candidate will have a strong background in German language, accounting principles, excellent
analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plansin alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyse financial performance, identify key performance indicators(KPIs), and provide insightsto support
strategic decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements,
balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards,tax regulations, and other financial requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditorsto address any issues or concerns.
Cost Control:
• Monitor and analyse coststo identify areasfor improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement cost control measures, as necessary.
Team Management
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to
develop talent and enhance capabilities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuousimprovement within the finance function.
• Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process and ensure compliance with local GAAP,
and internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
• Degree in accounting or finance mandatory, professional degree preferred.
• Command over English and German language.
• Strong knowledge ofGAAP and financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Experience inmanaging the Controllership of a multinational company, preferably in the technology,
manufacturing sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and financial modeling tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and
collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive results and deliver
value.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic
environment.
