Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare and draft various types of litigation and advisory related documents for providing indirect tax services.
• Filing or presenting for obtaining DGFT related licenses, filing duty drawback application
• Liasoning with GST, customs and other tax authorities to support the clients.
• Manage and guide a team of 1-2 individuals for indirect tax related services.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and support the partner in providing global indirect tax and trade services.
• Independently discuss with clients and provide solutions as well as close negotiations.
• Help the partner in MIS and invoicing related support in respect of the existing clients
• Being responsive to client demands, project deadlines, and addressing team queries and resolution.
• Ensure minimum escalations from the client.
• Willingness to learn the subject matter and grow in the organization.
Role specific skillsets:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Indirect Tax including customs and FTP.
• Candidate must have an experience on indirect tax related advisories, litigations and liasoning with tax authorities
• Good communications skills and stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to manage clients through improvement planning and long-term vision of improving service levels.
• Should take ownership of his/her work and initiate required activities to get the results.
• Problem solving attitude and willing to learn.
