Job Duties –
• Prepare, review, and file multi-jurisdictional sales/use, business and occupation, and gross
receipts tax returns for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual filings
• Manage a select group of customers as their primary point of contact
• Ability to research and resolve jurisdictional notices on behalf of customers
• Responsible for the on-boarding and validation of new sales/use tax returns customers
• Responsible for identifying and improving automation to serve our customers across a variety of
market and tax verticals.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with customers, jurisdictions and other internal teams as
part of research and resolution
• Perform QA related to sales and use tax content and form changes
• Manage workload to effectively meet deadlines
• Identify ways to improve process and/or technology to better serve our customers.
• Work collaboratively with all staff members and management
• You will work closely with clients from diverse industries, providing tailored support for their tax
compliance needs.
• You and your team will focus on continuous process improvements and automation initiatives to
enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance operations.
• Regularly collaborate with onsite teams and stakeholders in the US to address any compliance
issues or changes in tax regulations
• As a team player, you will participate in cross-functional projects aimed at system improvements
or process changes
What You'll Need to be Successful - Qualifications
• Strong Technical Expertise & Understanding of processes - Core SUT experience - exclusively
worked in Sales & Use Tax Domain
• Worked with POA for Clients, Managed End to end Notices, Exemption Certificates.
• Interaction with Clients, state authorities & jurisdictions, & independently leading jurisdiction
calls
• SME: Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or
6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently yet still function as a team player
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet strict filing deadlines
• Ability to learn and adapt to different software applications and tools
• Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel (functions include power
pivot, vlookup, hlookup, etc.)
• Aligned with US Business Hours – This role requires availability during standard US business
hours to ensure seamless collaboration with our team and clients. (6.00 pm to 3.00 am)
• Eligible for Occasional US Travel (2-3 Times Annually) – The ideal candidate holds a valid US
visa and is open to traveling for key meetings, team events, or industry conferences
approximately 2-3 times per year.

Preferred Qualifications -
• Advanced degree in accounting or finance
• Experience with a Big 4 firm, large corporate tax department of a multinational company, or large
ERP integration
• May have attended tax conferences. (Good to have)
