About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function at our manufacturing plant with a workforce of approximately 2000 employees. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Industrial Relations (IR) and employee management at scale, ensuring a harmonious and productive workplace while driving HR strategies that support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive HR and Industrial Relations strategies aligned with the manufacturing plant’s business goals.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning for a large employee base (~2000).
• Manage all aspects of Industrial Relations, including local compliance, dispute resolution, collective bargaining, and maintaining positive employee-management relationships.
• Handle employee relations issues effectively to maintain workplace harmony and minimize conflicts.
• Oversee performance management, training, and development initiatives tailored for a large manufacturing workforce.
• Ensure strict compliance with labour laws, safety regulations, and company policies across all employee groups.
• Design competitive compensation and benefits structures aligned with industry standards and workforce needs.
• Lead employee engagement programs and initiatives to foster motivation, productivity, and job satisfaction.
• Provide HR data analytics and reporting to plant leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the HR team to efficiently manage payroll, attendance, statutory compliance, and HR documentation for a large workforce.
• Collaborate closely with plant operations to anticipate workforce needs and succession planning.
