ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power Platform & Data Analytics Specialist to drive digital transformation through data analytics, automation, and visualization. The primary responsibility will be to work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design automated workflows, manage data pipelines, and deliver user-centric dashboards and applications using tools such as Power BI, Power Query and Advanced Excel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Gather and analyze user requirements for reporting, analytics, and automation solutions.
• Plan strategies for data capturing, storage, transformation, and governance across multiple sources (Excel, SQL Databases, Web APIs, Dataflows, SharePoint, ERP (SAP), and other third-party data, etc.).
• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations using Power Query, SQL, and other tools.
• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports including data modelling, DAX, dashboard design, performance optimization with KPIs, drill-down, and trend analysis features.
• Manage company’s Power BI Cloud Workspace used for dashboard deployment (admin control).
• Continuously explore new Power Platform features and best practices for solution enhancement.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for deployed solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and maintain documentation for all reports
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Power BI — Dashboards, DAX, Power Query, data modelling, Performance optimization
• Advanced Excel — Pivot Tables, Excel formulas (i.e XLOOKUP, LET, IF), Power Pivot
• Excel Macros / VBA — Report automation, scripting, scheduling
• Power Query — Data transformation and ETL transformation
• SQL — Basic querying for data extraction (preferred)
• SQL databases, APIs, ERP (SAP), SharePoint integration
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
SOFT SKILLS:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Translating business needs into technical solutions
• Clear documentation and user training skills
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, IT, or Related field
• 2–6 years of relevant experience
• Relevant technical skills are mandatory
• Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Data Analytics (Microsoft PL-300) certification is a plus.
