Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated FRS Engagement Expert to join our Financial Reporting Services team. The role involves supporting clients across multiple domains including audit support, financial due diligence, Ind AS implementation, and virtual CFO services. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and very strong Excel proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit Support Services
• Assist in preparing audit schedules, testing workings, and variance analysis.
• Perform GL scrutiny, reconciliations, lead schedules, and analytical procedures.
• Support statutory auditors with data requests and documentation.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements as per Companies Act & Accounting Standards.
2. Due Diligence / Transaction Support
• Support buy-side and investment due diligence assignments.
• Perform financial analysis of P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, and working capital.
• Identify red flags, normalization adjustments, and unusual trends.
• Prepare due diligence workpapers and sections of DD reports.
3. Ind AS Conversion & Technical Accounting
• Assist in Ind AS conversion projects including gap assessment and impact analysis.
• Prepare transition workings (Ind AS 101), reconciliations, and disclosure mapping.
• Support preparation of Ind AS-compliant financial statements.
• Research accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS) and document technical positions.
4. Virtual CFO Services
• Assist clients with monthly MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Prepare dashboards, management reports, KPIs, and variance commentary.
• Support in process improvements, SOP drafting, and internal control reviews.
• Work on cash flow planning, receivables follow-ups, vendor reconciliations, etc.
5. Excel-Driven Analysis & Automation
• Build complex Excel models, automated templates, pivot tables, dashboards, and trackers.
• Work with large datasets and ensure high accuracy.
• Apply formulas, lookups, conditional formatting, and data validation.
• Strong preference for candidates with hands-on skills in Power BI / Google Sheets.
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of accounts, finance, and reporting fundamentals.
• Excellent Excel skills (mandatory).
• Good understanding of Ind AS concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal.
• Ability to prepare clean, structured working papers.
• Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic consulting environment.
Educational Qualification
• Fresher CA (Having experience of 1 Year)
Preferred Additional Skills (Not Mandatory)
• Exposure to statutory audits or internal audits.
• Experience in due diligence, MIS reporting, or financial modelling.
• Familiarity with accounting software like Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks etc.
