Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update standard costs in accordance with established costing processes.
Analyze Purchase Price Variance (PPV), labour, usage and overhead variances.
Support inventory valuation, reconciliation and related accounting activities.
Prepare costing-related journal entries and financial reports.
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams on cost analysis and cost optimization initiatives.
Support budgeting, forecasting and month-end financial close activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting enhancements.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost accounting data and financial information.
Support internal controls and accounting policies related to costing and inventory.
Collaborate with cross-functional and global finance stakeholders as required.
Mandatory Requirements:
Qualified CMA.
6–8 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costing.
Strong experience in Standard Costing, Inventory Accounting and Variance Analysis.
Hands-on SAP experience is mandatory.
Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
Experience in manufacturing finance and cost accounting processes.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with MNCs.
Exposure to GBS, GCC or Shared Services environments.
Experience working with Operations, Supply Chain and Finance stakeholders.
Exposure to cost optimization, budgeting and forecasting.
Technical Skills:

Excel Skills:
Advanced Excel experience in Cost Analysis, Variance Analysis, Inventory Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costing, with excellent analytical and reporting capabilities. Candidates with SAP experience and exposure to MNC/GBS/GCC environments will be preferred.
