Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with experience in the consultancy industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing first meetings with potential clients, delivering compelling presentations, and negotiating favorable contracts. With a strong background in consulting, the candidate will be able to effectively articulate the value of our services, tailor solutions to client needs, and drive business growth.
In case the candidate has experience in selling digital solutions or knowledge on ESG that will be considered as a added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Acquisition: Identify and target high-potential clients, using industry knowledge and market research to generate leads and secure initial meetings.
• Presentation & Proposal Development: Deliver tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our consultancy services and aligning them with client needs.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust in our consultancy expertise.
• Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead negotiations to close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that align with company objectives while addressing client concerns and expectations.
• Consultancy Offering Articulation: Work closely with internal teams to stay updated on the latest consultancy services, ensuring all offerings are presented accurately and effectively to clients.
• Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and client needs to identify potential opportunities for business development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination of messaging, proposals, and client transitions from sales to delivery.
• Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, maintain CRM data, and report on lead generation, meeting outcomes, and closed deals to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, specifically within a consultancy firm.
• Strong ability to secure meetings with potential clients, present consultancy services, and close deals through effective negotiation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and articulate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts, pricing, and service terms that benefit both the client and the company.
• Ability to understand and address client needs, offering tailored solutions that drive business growth.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a consultancy or professional services firm.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management software.
