Operational - Act as a point of contact for financial and accounting tasks as they relate to the Indian business and other entities in South Africa, Finland and the Netherlands. - Support in preparation of month end and year-end financial reports of all global Entities - Review of payroll for Indian employees - Carry out monthly bank reconciliations - Calculate and post monthly journal entries including prepayments, accruals, lease recognition, interest, depreciation, AR/AP and employee liabilities - Manage AR and AP in all entities - Oversee in management of the group’s global ERP system - Monthly balance sheet reconciliations - Review customer and supplier invoicing to ensure compliance with obligations - Review profit and loss statements to ensure accuracy - Prepare various tax returns as required (including income tax, withholding tax) - Liaise with external auditor to ensure timely completion of audit activities. Liaise with external accountants on various tax and statutory compliances - Maintain an efficient and organized filing system - Assisting Country Manager (India) /Global CEO with finance and accounting requirements - Any other duties required of you as directed

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary education in related field (Commerce, Business, Finance or Accounting) - Previous 5-10 years’ experience in a senior financial position - Professional accounting qualification - MBA/CA/ICWA or Equivalent qualification - Demonstratable experience with computer and systems – MS Office Suite including global ERP and accounting systems such as Business Central or Oracle or equivalent systems - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Strong knowledge of financial and accounting best practice along with relevant tax law, transfer pricing and legislation
