At least 1 year of relevant experience into M&A Tax
Core M&A Tax Role & responsibilities:
-Advising & implementing Mergers and Acquisitions (Corporate restructuring, Cross-border investment structuring, international taxation advisory), Succession planning and trust structuring and carrying out Tax due-diligence.
-Evaluating various direct tax, company law, SEBI, FEMA, stamp duty, accounting, and commercial implications of the available options - Drafting deliverables such as reports, proposals, advice, opinions, emails, presentations for clients; -
-Reviewing transaction documents such as Business transfer agreement, Share purchase agreements and the Scheme of arrangement and related documents such as shareholder resolutions, notices, petitions, explanatory statement etc. from tax and regulatory perspective.
-Ensuring compliance with risk management strategies, plans and activities.
-Following up on billing, collection, etc.
-Keeping a track on latest developments and share articles on industry trends.
