Position: Senior Manager – Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering
Location: Selu, Parbhani (Maharashtra)
Reports To: Director of Operations / VP Manufacturing
Role Overview:
The Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Senior Manager is responsible for leading engineering teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure operational excellence across multiple facilities or large-scale operations. This role requires strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership to align manufacturing capabilities with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering function across plants or business units.
• Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Oversee plant layout, workflow optimization, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Drive lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless new product introductions.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track operational performance and drive accountability.
• Evaluate and implement advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Provide technical and strategic input to executive leadership for long-term manufacturing planning.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and large-scale process optimization.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Experience managing engineering teams in mid-to-large organizations with complex operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
