Job Purpose:
Effective utilization of funds by managing working capital requirements through periodical and one-time cash flow preparation and effective monitoring. Ensure timely compliances (Internal & External) in relation to various types of borrowings and ICD’s. Execution of forex management transactions including forwards contracts and accounting as per FEMA and accounting standards.
Must have sound knowledge of banking system by establishing internal controls and adhering to internal SOP’s/ guidelines. Supporting head accounts for Identifying borrowing requirements (TL & WCL), negotiating with various bankers to keep the borrowing cost minimum.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Funds & working Capital management
· Planning and execution of cash flow/fund flow based on internal guidelines.
· Ensure un-utilized funds are parked in mandated fixed income instruments to ensure effective utilization.
· Track working capital gaps by making timely arrangement of working capital loans from bankers.
· Effective utilization of un-utilized working capital through various banking products i.e., PCRE, PCFC & WCDL
2. Execution of Various Term Loan & Renewals
· Prepare annual capex requirements and explore various term loans for funding the capex.
· Arrange post management approval to ensure all the required loan documentation is executed as per the decided the timelines.
· Ensure key terms, covenants and security is incorporated in agreements with bankers as per the internal guidelines.
· Monitor disbursements are effectively deployed for the purpose of loan drawn.
3. Borrowings and Payments Due
· Provide the inland/overseas letter of credit/bank guarantee for supplier/customer based on internal approvals.
· Ensure the closure is executed effectively by monitoring along with initiator/buyer against the conditions specified in the instruments.
· Ensure the timely principal & interest payment of all the borrowings or made on time so that internal and statutory regulations will be fulfilled.
· Monitor all the vendors and statutory payments as per the SOP’s and due dates.
4. FEMA & Other Compliance
· Monitor and control EDPMS, IDPMS, BRC, FIRC, ECB returns, banking covenants reporting, advance tax inputs and any other statutory certification requirements and compliances are adhered as per the timelines.
5. Forex Management
· Provide the projected export / import, forex loan repayment data to forex consultant as and when required, arrange the monthly meeting with forex consultant, preparation the monthly forex MIS.
· Ensure effective deployment of forex policy.
6. Statutory Audit requirement
· Ensure all the required workings, documents, confirmations, are submitted as per time lines to auditor and effective closure of queries independently. This mainly includes providing the short term/ long term loan, PCRE term loan & interest working, provide the annual forex gain/ loss re-instates working for export customer & import suppliers.
· Provide the CSR/ donation working, other income provision, yearly bank balance confirmation, security deposition working.
· Provide the forward contract MTM working, interest payable/ receivable working.
7. Export Incentive Accounting
· Ensure accurate accounting is completed by taking cognizance of exports made, incentive accrued and incentive realized.
· Provide required workings to ensure export incentive MIS is aligned with books of accounts
